Upstream or Downstream?

If you're alive you have the ability to swim upstream. To go against the current is to exhaust yourself to get to a place that few visit due to the exertion necessary. The world is full of people that have given up, let life carry them wherever it takes them, a feather in the breeze or a spot in the stream. There are few that fight the currents and try to change the world we live in. Those that do usually reap fantastic rewards if they were planned how to handle success

It is for the strong spirit that stays the course, dodges the feathers and the dark spots in the murky currents.

I choose to fight forward looking to change the world, my nation, my state, my city, in big and small ways. The merry go round is delightful. The rollercoaster is heartpounding.
